1985 - 1987: Translator with LOGOS Computer Systems GmbH in Frankfurt/Main, a translation software company
   Functions:
    - Translation of in-house and customer documentation for the following language combinations:
         English-German, German-English, French-German and French-English
    - Linguistic analysis of the system output of the company´s translation software as basis for quality control
    - Writing of the German, English and French documentation of the company´s translation software
    - Customer support in linguistic and technical respect

Since 1987: Freelance translator

Specialization in documentation, technical reference manuals, and system manuals in the following fields:

    - Information Technology (IT) in general
    - Network Technology (hardware and software)
    - Telecommunications
    - EDP (e.g. WP, DBS, CAD/CAM/CIM, DTP)
    - SAP R/3
    - Economics in general
    - Tourism (e.g. touristic reservation systems)
